It was a first in the optical industry: Lukkas Paris put on a fashion show to introduce its new collection of eyewear and sunglasses. A one-of-a-kind show held on January 7th for a delighted audience. We take a look back at this trend-setting and unprecedented event.

A unique show in the optical industry

For nearly 30 minutes, a dozen different models - including well-known personalities - brought this new eyewear collection to life. Drawing its inspiration from aesthetics and the elegance of the City of Lights, Lukkas Paris eyewear took centre stage through a series of dynamic and typically Parisian vignettes. Setting the scene, musicians and dancers struck the rhythm for an evening bright with emotion.

In addition to adult models, children also took part in the event, putting on a confident display of frames designed just for them… and tough enough for fun and play! In fact, the new Lukkas Paris eyewear collection set out to be a tailor-made product for its consumers. No matter the style, each model steps back to shine the spotlight on the personality of the wearer. The 2019 collection boasts 63 models, including 21 sunglasses and 42 eyeglasses. 20% of the collection is mixed.

Luxurious, affordable and chic, Lukkas Paris eyewear is the work of French designers, benefiting from meticulous craftsmanship. Each detail is magnified, carefully planned and executed with care. The interior of the temples is laser-engraved, and an insert fastened to the previously shaped and polished endpieces. Each model is also distinguished by the quality of the materials. Acetate and titanium were selected for their strength and aesthetic appeal, providing users with the ultimate in comfort and quality. The new collection is urban and chic, inspired by fashion-forward Parisians on the go. 

The collection was launched on January 14th at Optical Center stores and on lukkas.fr
