The chic craftsman In 1917, in Turin, Giuseppe Ratti, a photographer and owner of an optical shop, began to manufacture technologically advanced glasses designed to meet the requirements of aviators and pilots for comfort, Protection and quality of vision. The success of these glasses named "Protector" led in 1938 to the creation of the brand Persol (which means "for the sun"). The craze for Persol products will no longer be denied, from the famous model 649 initiator of the style of "wide" frames to model 830 created in the 90s for Ornella Mutti. Always made in a traditional way, in Turin, despite the acquisition in 1995 of the brand by the Luxoticca group, Persol glasses combine style and comfort under a neat dress.
Three lines of glasses: Design, Suprema and Classics Persol eyeglasses and sunglasses come in three lines: "Design", "Suprema" and "Classics", to adapt to the style of each.
